The site will now be home to the archives of Latissimus, the newsletter of the Balfour-Browne Club. Currently, issues 1, 2, and 3 are online. I will be scanning 4 through 15 soon for posting. Venezuelan info will be be posted soon (really).

Performed some general site clean-up. The PI's of the Venezuela Water Beetle project met in DC this last weekend; information and photos will be put up soon. Additional english translations will also be posted next week.

I received very sad news from Hiroyuki Yoshitomi that Dr. Masataka Sato passed away suddenly this morning. Dr. Sato has published extensively on aquatic beetles, including a number of papers on the Hydrophilidae. AEZS.
