Prospective Students
Prospective Graduate Students
I will have openings for PhD students to join my lab in the Fall of 2009. PhD students are guaranteed funding for 5 years.

While I will consider any motivated and enthusiastic student interested in insect systematics, a compatible applicants' research interests should fall into at least one (and preferably two) of the following areas: (1) Coleoptera, (2) Aquatics, or (3) Neotropics.

While my lab's research program is varied, I strongly emphasize specimen and field-based research; all students working in my lab will be expected to conduct fieldwork and collections-based activities as part of their degree.

Interested students should contact me well BEFORE applying.
